Both refuges are currently unable to accept pets with women and men who come to stay with us. The refuges are communal buildings so we need to be aware of other people's allergies.

We recognised that this could prevent some from coming to the refuge as there is a correlation between domestic abuse and pet abuse.

 

However there are pet fostering schemes in Cornwall and Devon, such as Refuge4Pets. You can also become someone who fosters pets!
